In fact, the lutein and zeaxanthin protect the macula, and they also make it easier for our eyes when receiving UV light. There are other foods that have lots of benefits for our eyes and spinach, strawberries and the food that almost everybody knows that’s good for our eyes, the carrots. These foods are an excellent choice in your diet because of the fact that they can prevent the onset of macular degeneration.
