Hollywood’s Biggest and Most Explosive Feuds

Celebrities argue, just like us. But unlike us, their feuds are broadcast and dissected on the news, in the blogs and on social media for all to see, sometimes making the situation worse than it actually is. And while some of these fights are resolved over time, some of them never end and we’ve got all the juicy details her for you in this article today. If you’re in the mood for a bit of gossip and would like to read about some of the most explosive feuds in the history of Hollywood, just keep scrolling.

Donald Trump and Chrissy Teigen

Elite Daily

Chrissy Teigen, model and wife of John Legend, has become a stand out star over the past few years because of the way she’s been trolling Donald Trump. She doesn’t like a bone in his body, which is apparent by the way she makes fun of him on social media- in fact, she and John attended Comedy Central’s roast of Trump way back in 2011. A few months later she posted, “Just realized I am at a Starbucks inside a Trump building. I knew it smelled psychotic and racist here.” In 2016, she wished him a happy birthday along with a picture with instructions on how to deactivate his Twitter account. And it’s only escalated since then.

During Trump’s campaign, Chrissy was in full swing, throwing jabs at many of his tweets. In a post where Trump said, “we must keep “evil” out of our country,” Chrissy responded with “what time should we call your Uber?” Chrissy said in an interview that she’s hated Trump for a very long time and that she’s been trolling him for about 5-7 years now (this year makes 7-9). Now this battle may seem one-sided, but it’s pretty apparent that Donald Trump knew exactly what Chrissy was doing. When she told him no one liked him, he finally blocked her on Twitter. But that did not stop her. She still found ways to make fun of him and all the crazy things he’s said. While some may hate her, most believe that she should be a national treasure for beefing with the president.

Donald Trump and Rosie O’Donnell

The Trump-O’Donnell war started in 2006 when one of the Miss USA winners got involved in drugs and alcohol. Trump allowed her to keep her crown if she went to rehab and Rosie, who was not happy about the ultimatum, called him a “snake-oil salesman,” along with discussing his personal life on television. Trump fired back by calling Rosie “a real loser” and “fat little Rosie.” It all quieted down for a few years and flared back to life in 2011, after Rosie got engaged.

The two continued to insult each other at what seemed to be every turn, even though Trump did wish Rosie well when she suffered a heart attack in 2012. But again, the two couldn’t seem to stop. Their feud continued, even during and after Trump’s presidential campaign. By then, he must have called her a “loser” over a thousand times, and she’s retorted just as much.

Khloe Kardashian and Jordyn Woods

E! News

It’s safe to say that the world was shocked when everyone woke up to find out that one of the closest friends of the Kardashian family was accused of cheating with one of their men. People did not know what to think when it was revealed that Jordyn Woods, Kylie’s long-term best friend, had hooked up with Khloe’s then-boyfriend and baby’s father, Tristan Thompson. But it turns out that it was true, even though stories differed on what they did together- Jordyn said that Tristan kissed her but people who were there said more happened.

Needless to say, Jordyn’s name was dragged through the mud by the Kardashian clan. Jordyn took the high road by clearing her name just once, apologizing and trying to move on. But Khloe would not have it. She called the young girl all sorts of names and failed to blame Tristan, a notorious cheater, until fans pointed out that he was also wrong. Kylie, who was stuck in the middle, was supportive of her sister, but also asked that the bullying stop. As of now, Jordyn and the Kardashians (and their friends) are not on speaking terms.

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B

Nicki Minaj and Cardi B’s history is quite long for something which started so recently. It all started with Nicki allegedly liking a tweet which dissed some of Cardi’s lyrics. It was pointed out that the Nicki profile was fake, but the seed had already been planted. Nicki was even spotted dancing to Cardi’s song, Bodak Yellow, a few weeks later. When Nicki released the song “No Flag” and it spoke about the industry trying to make a copy of her, people thought she was talking about Cardi and that was when it all started. The two kept throwing jabs in their songs and everyone thought they were meant for each other, despite the rappers stating otherwise.

But the fans seemed to love the drama and kept pushing each woman in opposite directions. It all came to a head on the night of the Harper’s Bazaar party during New York Fashion Week in 2018. When the two spotted each other, hands and shoes flew and Cardi walked out with a knob on her forehead. She later explained that Nicki spoke about her child and parenting skills. Cardi later said that Nicki was gunning for her all this time and even tried to stop certain business deals from happening. Nicki denied it all. The entire situation was very messy and in the end, both rappers agreed to “keep it positive and keep it pushing.”

Taylor Swift and Katy Perry

The New York Times

Many people don’t remember this, but Taylor Swift and Katy Perry used to be friends back in the day when they were both starting out in the music industry. But they proved that they were just like regular people because their feud allegedly started over a boy- a man, if we’re being exact. Taylor had had her fair share of exes by 2012 and John Mayer was one of them. When Katy started dating him, we’re told resentment started to build, but that things really went south over a business deal that involved backup dancers. Taylor said, “She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people out from under me. And I’m surprisingly non-confrontational — you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now, I have to avoid her. It’s awkward, and I don’t like it.”

Firing back at her former best friend, Taylor released her “Bad Blood” hit song and everyone knew it was aimed at Katy. But Katy did not rise to it, or so people thought, because her song “Swish, Swish” was thought to be the response. But in 2018, Katy extended an olive branch in the form of a note and apologized to Taylor. They met at a party shortly after and had a real conversation. Things aren’t how they used to be but they’re no longer feuding.

Taylor Swift and Kanye West (and Kim Kardashian)

The Kanye West- Taylor Swift battle started in 2009 when Kanye ran up on stage during the MTV Video Music Awards and interrupted Taylor Swift’s acceptance speech. He thought that Beyonce, and not Taylor should have won and decided to let the audience know his thoughts. Well, Kanye was dragged through the media and even then-president, Barak Obama, said that Kanye was a jacka** for his actions. Well, the two publicly made up about six years later and even considered making music together.

But things fell apart again a year later when Kanye dropped the song ‘Famous’- one lyric, in particular, stood out: “I feel like me and Taylor might still have s*x / Why? I made that b***h famous.” People were in shock and when Taylor voiced her disapproval, it all went to hell again. The singer said that Kanye was undermining her success and once again, he was the bad guy. Well, until Kanye’s wife, Kim Kardashian got involved. You see, there was a back and forth going on between Taylor and Kanye where the rapper said he spoke to the singer about the lyric in advance and she said he didn’t. Kim got a hold of Kanye and Taylor’s recorded conversations about that very matter and released them to the public; Taylor was made aware and could be heard giving her approval during their phone calls. Since the audio was released, contact between Taylor and the married couple has been non-existent.

Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris

Taylor Swift’s dating life was the subject of many magazines a few years ago and it resulted in one of her biggest feuds. When she and Calvin Harris got together, the two blondes looked so perfect together. But it was not meant to be and a few weeks after they broke up, the war began. Taylor moved on pretty quickly by dating Tom Hiddleston and when it was revealed that she wrote one of Calvin’s biggest hits, “This Is What You Came For,” Calvin lost it.

In a series of tweets, he let the world know that Taylor did write the lyrics, but she wanted to keep it a secret. He said that it was hurtful that she and her team “would go so far out of their way” to make him look bad. Calvin even mentioned Taylor’s new relationship and that he thinks she should be focused on that and not her ex-boyfriend. He also brought up the Taylor Swift-Katy Perry beef. Taylor never responded, but the whole thing had people thinking about the timing of this revelation. Although the feud appeared to be one-sided, it looked like Taylor worked behind the scenes to ‘out’ Calvin.

Sarah Jessica Parker and Kim Cattrall

Sex and the City will forever be one of the best TV series of our time. The story of four completely different women and their friendships and relationships had people going crazy. But some of those TV friendships were just that-television, because two of the show’s stars, Sarah and Kim, hated each other’s guts. Sources say that it all began when Sarah was offered considerably more money for the final season than Kim, something that reportedly caused delays with the shooting and production of the two movies.

It was also rumored that Kim was the reason why a third movie was never made and cast members said she wasn’t the easiest person to be around. Kim fired back by saying that she’d never been friends with anyone on set and that Sarah in particular, “could have been nicer.” Sarah tried to extend an olive branch on social media when Kim’s brother died, but Kim said, “I don’t need your love or support at this tragic time.”

50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather

The war between Floyd Mayweather and 50 Cent is one that popped up almost out of nowhere. The two were close friends until it seemed like 50 started goading the boxer because of his intelligence or lack thereof. 50 Cent joked that he would give a charity $750, 000 if Floyd read one page of a Harry Potter novel. He took it one step further and said he’d donate the money if Floyd read Dr. Seuss’ Green Eggs and Ham. The two made up after that but it went south again.

The fight has gotten so personal that there is no hope of any kind of reconciliation. The paternity of children have been questioned, there has been talk of STDs, people owing each other money and much more. Rumor has it that it all began when Floyd declined an offer to get into business with the rapper.

Sean Penn and Lee Daniels

Many feuds between celebrities are verbal or happen on social media. Very few of them actually make it to court, but this one did. In 2015, Sean Penn filed a lawsuit worth $10 million against Lee Daniels and it all started with a comment that Lee Daniels made when defending his friend (and someone he worked with often), Terrence Howard.

You see, there were reports stating that Terrence had been physically abusive to his ex-wife and when Lee Daniels was asked about the situation, Sean’s name came up. Here’s what he said, “[Terrence] ain’t done nothing different than Marlon Brando or Sean Penn, and all of a sudden he’s some f***in’ demon.” Well, Sean Penn didn’t take too kindly to that and in his lawsuit said, “Daniels has falsely asserted and/or implied that Penn is guilty of ongoing, continuous violence against women.” Lee Daniels had to apologize to Sean and make a large donation to a charity meant to provide assistance to the nation of Haiti. The case is now settled.

Lee Daniels and Mo’Nique

Page Six

Lee Daniels was also responsible for directing the Oscar Award-winning, Precious. That exact movie starred comedian Mo’Nique, who said a black shadow was cast over her when she failed to mention Lee’s name while accepting her award back in 2015. She said, “I think that those are feelings that Mr. Daniels is having. He said, ‘You know Mo’Nique — she didn’t thank the producers [at the Oscars]. She didn’t thank the studio, and that’s just not things that you do.’ Well, it had nothing to do with the producers, nor the studio. Mr. Daniels had a problem that I didn’t say his name the night of the Oscar awards.” But that wasn’t the end of it.

In 2017, Mo’Nique had some choice words for Lee Daniels and two other popular producers, Oprah and Tyler Perry. During her comedy special, she said that the three of them could “suck my d***, if I had one.” The following year, Daniels finally responded by saying that Mo’Nique “needs to shut up,” that she blackballed herself with her speech and that her comments following said speech were disrespectful.

Tyrese Gibson and Dwayne Johnson

Tyrese Gibson is known for getting emotional on social media. And when it was announced that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would be getting his own spin-off movie from the Fast & Furious franchise, Tyrese was mad. He was so upset that he took to Instagram to let the world know how he felt, “Congratulations to @TheRock and your bother-in-law aka 7 bucks … for making the fast and furious franchise about YOU.”

Things reportedly got so bad between the actors (Vin Diesel included), that it resulted in Dwayne not appearing in the ninth installment of the series. While Vin and Dwayne appear to be on good terms now, it only got worse with Tyrese. In another Instagram post, Tyrese wrote, “If you move forward with that #Hobbs movie, you will have purposely ignored the heart to heart moment we had in my sprinter.” The actor also wrote “we don’t fly solo.” Dwayne has completely ignored most of Tyrese’s rants and requests- the Hobbs & Shaw film was released on August 2nd, 2019.

Shannen Doherty and Alyssa Milano

Page Six

Shannen and Alyssa played sisters on the ultra-popular late nineties/early 200s series, Charmed. What many people don’t know is that the two have had their fair share of arguments, enough that Shannen would leave the show (among other reasons). She stated that, “There was too much drama on the set and not enough passion for the work.” Alyssa agreed that there were “definitely rough days” on set as well. When Shannen left, sources claim that they did not speak for many years afterward.

But the battle is now over. Rumor has it that Alyssa apologized for whatever happened and Shannen accepted. In an interview, Alyssa revealed, “What happens 15 years ago is or however long ago that was, it’s irrelevant.” It was also reported that Alyssa was at the other actress’s side when she was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago.

Will Smith and Janet Hubert-Whitten

Janet’s name may not seem familiar to you, but she played Will Smith’s Aunt Viv on “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” Well, it wasn’t as always fun as it seemed because Vivian was fired and replaced by another actress when things between her and Will (and some of the show’s execs) got too hot.

No one went into detail about what exactly happened, but it was clear that Janet had not forgiven the actor when asked if she would be part of the show’s reunion. She said, “I will never do anything with an a***ole like Will Smith.” And when the cast did reunite in 2017, she took to social media and wrote this, “I have no interest in seeing any of these people on that kind of level.”

Jay-Z and Kanye West

Kanye West is clearly not someone everyone likes, but he was loved by Jay-Z. The two were close friends who worked together and even released a joint album back in 2011. But in 2016, Kanye decided to air out his feelings about a bunch of people, including Jay Z while on stage. During the rant, Kanye said this about his friend, “Jay Z, call me, bruh. You still ain’t calling me. Jay Z, call me… Jay Z. Hey, don’t send killers at my head, bro. This ain’t the Malcolm X movie. We growing from that moment. Let ‘Ye be ‘Ye.”

Kanye also went on to mention that his and Jay-Z’s children hadn’t had a play date yet and that Jay Z never picked up the phone to call after Kim Kardashian’s infamous robbery in Paris. And Jay- Z was not happy about it. After throwing a few words for Kanye in his song “Kill Jay-Z,” Jay also explained what he was thinking when Kanye said what he said. He explained, “What really hurt me was you can’t bring my kid or my wife into it. You brought my family into it, now it’s a problem with me. That’s a real, real problem. And he knows it’s a problem.” Later on, Jay-Z admitted that he and Kanye had a complicated relationship, but that they loved and respected each other. Things aren’t as okay as they used to be, but the two are on speaking terms.

Kanye West and Wiz Khalifa

The Source

It’s safe to say that people expected Kanye and Wiz to fall out, but it happened at a time when people thought the all-clear had already passed. For once, Kanye wasn’t the one who started it, although his actions were pretty questionable. When Wiz Khalifa heard that Kanye was changing the name of his album to “Waves,” Wiz called him out. Kanye ignored the tweet but went off on Wiz for mistakenly thinking that the rapper was talking about his wife, Kim Kardashian, when Wiz tweeted “KK.” Wiz was referring to his own strain of marijuana called “Khalifa Kush,” but Kanye went HAM. West took to Twitter and started by saying, “You let a stripper trap you.” He continued with a series of tweets which said things like, “Bro first of all you stole your whole s**t from Cudi. Second, your first single was corny as f**k and most there after,” “5th I know you mad every time you look at your child that this girl got you for 18 years,” and “13th You own waves???? I own your child!!!!”

Kanye’s list went up to 17 and he still continued tweeting after that. Wiz did explain that KK was not referring to Kim, but Amber Rose saw fit to do more when she saw that Kanye had spoken about her child, and humiliated the rapper with less than 140 characters. She tweeted, “Awww @kanyewest are u mad I’m not around to play in ur a***ole anymore? #FingersInTheBootyA**B**ch.” After realizing that he was wrong, Kanye tweeted, “What’s sad is I love Wiz and I love all my brothers and all people,” followed by “I love the world bottom line and all I want is peace and positive energy.”

Bea Arthur and Betty White

Purple Clover

Bea Arthur and Betty White’s dynamic on the iconic show, Golden Girls, was a hit on-screen. Viewers loved the seriousness of Dorothy and the silliness of Rose, and it was a hoot whenever Dorothy insulted the dim-witted character from St. Olaf. But their on-screen roles were pretty similar to how they got on in real life.  While Betty White wasn’t daft like her character, Bea Arthur was the epitome of cold and sometimes even a little harsh. It was said that while on set, Bea would never really show warmness to any of her coworkers. In contrast, Betty would speak to the studio audience between scenes and it really bothered Bea.

When Betty became the first of the four leading actresses to win an Emmy for her role in the show, Bea reportedly called her the c-word (the one with four letters). It was believed that Bea thought she was the better actress and resentment grew. It was hard for some fans to believe but then Bea’s very own adopted son admitted she didn’t have close friends and could have a bit of an attitude.

Remy Ma and Nicki Minaj

Urban Islandz

The battle between two of the best female rappers of our time began in 2007 when Nicki dissed Remy in a freestyle she did by the name of “Dirty Money.” Remy went to prison for a while but when she came out, she was more than ready to reignite the war between her and Nicki. She released two diss tracks aimed at Nicki and they found their mark. On The Wendy Williams Show, Remy explained that lots of things happened between the two of them behind the scenes.

Nicki released her own diss tracks but it was nowhere near as successful as what Remy did. To make matters worse, Remy received the Best Female Hip-Hop Artist award that year- a trophy Nicki had been walking away with for the previous seven years. Remy rapped her acceptance speech, dissing Minaj again. But it seems like Nicki may have the last laugh- her career is hotter than ever right now and she’s found the love of her life. Remy, on the other hand, got into an altercation that may mean she violated her probation and she might be heading back to prison.

Miley Cyrus and Nicki Minaj

Everything seemed fine between Miley and Nicki before 2015- in fact, Miley had even photoshopped herself onto Nicki’s body and posted it on social media, twice, and the rapper laughed about it both times. But that all changed in 2015 when Nicki Minaj did not get nominated for the VMA of the year. Nicki said that there was a double standard in the music industry with body image- that slim bodies get recognized but others don’t- and many people agreed with her. But Miley took offense for reasons we can’t explain. In an interview, Miley said she did not respect Nicki’s statement and hinted that Nicki may have been jealous (despite her disclaimer that she didn’t exactly think the rapper was). She stuck her foot in her mouth further when she said that Nicki wasn’t kind or polite.

Miley thought she had the last say but Nicki swung back at the VMAs that year and had a message for Miley. While on stage accepting her award, she said, “Back to this b***h that had a lot to say about me the other day in the press: Miley, what’s good?”  It seemed like Miley mouthed an apology two years later while on stage and was even a fan of the rapper when she was recorded dancing to Nicki’s Chun-Li. But Miley re-ignited the feud when, in her song ‘Cattitude,’ she sang, “I love you, Nicki, but I listen to Cardi.” Nicki’s fans were at Miley’s neck and when Nicki responded, it was clear who won. She said, “A Perdue chicken can never talk s**t about queens. That’s what she did….In the first place, she disrespected me in a magazine article for no reason. I had just seen her after she s*cked Mike WiLL’s d**k in the studio.” Miley should probably just not talk about Nicki from now on.

Gwyneth Paltrow and Martha Stewart

Us Weekly

Martha Stewart and Gwyneth Paltrow seem like two of the sweetest human beings on the planet, but their sweetness is definitely not aimed at each other. Their feud began about five years ago in 2014 when Martha had some choice words for the actress who had just started her own lifestyle brand, Goop. Martha said, “She’s a movie star. If she were confident in her acting, she wouldn’t be trying to be Martha Stewart.”

But Gwyneth did not back down. She soon created a recipe for a pie which she named “conscious coupling,” a tribute to the article written in Martha’s magazine about her (Gwyneth) and Chris Martin’s divorce- the author called the split a “conscious uncoupling.” A few weeks after that jab, Gwyneth sent some shade Martha’s way with a recipe she called the “jailbird cake.” If you don’t remember, Martha did a stint in prison for fraud back in 2004. Martha did not hit back after that.

Drake and Pusha T

The Hip Hop world would not be the same if some of its best artists didn’t find themselves in a feud every now and again. Everyone knows that it becomes serious when the artists release diss tracks, and they can get very personal, but none as personal as Pusha T’s “The Story of Adidon.”

In what is being called one of the craziest diss songs of all time, Pusha T revealed to the world that Drake had a secret illegitimate son. It later turned out to be true and one of the biggest stories of 2018. The story of Drake not thinking that baby (Adonis) was his, the DNA testing, and later having his son and baby mother Sophie immigrate to Canada all took center stage, but that wasn’t all. As the cover for the song, Pusha T unearthed a photo of Drake wearing blackface which was met with some serious backlash.

Drake and Meek Mill

Drake’s and Meek Mill’s relationship has had its ups and downs and although they’re friends again, recently releasing their song “Going Bad,” many are wondering how long it’s going to last. In 2012, the two artists collaborated on the track “Amen,” but just a few years later in 2015, the Philadelphia rapper (Mills) accused the Canadian artist (Drake) of not writing his own music.

Drake responded by dropping two diss tracks, “Charged Up” and “Back to Back,” the latter of which was nominated for a Grammy. Meek followed by releasing a track of his own “Wanna Know,” and the diss tracks and subliminal social media post continued until September 2018. During one on of his sold-out shows in Boston, Drake brought Mills on stage to perform “Dreams and Nightmares (Intro)” letting everyone know that their beef had been squashed. He later wrote on his Instagram, “This really gave me peace of mind tonight. Healing and moving forward created one of the most electric and gratifying moments of my career.”

Jimmy Kimmel and Sean Hannity

The fight between late-night talk show host Jimmy Kimmel and Fox News host Sean Hannity began when Hannity took offense to a joke that Kimmel made during the taping of an episode. He made fun of Melania’s accent after her appearance at the White House’s Easter celebrations, something that several talk show hosts have done before.

Hannity decided to call Kimmel a “despicable disgrace,” and an “a* clown.” Kimmel clapped back on his show saying, “why is Sean Hannity openly fantasizing about clowns in the a**. Is that your thing?” For days, the two traded insults, some of which got very nasty. At one point, some of Sean’s followers wished for the death of the Kimmel family. In an unexpected move, Jimmy decided to put an end to it by publicly apologizing to Sean, and after a few conversations, things seemed to be back to normal.

Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine

Vintage News

Olivia de Hallivand and younger sister Joan Fontaine both found success as actresses during Hollywood’s Golden Age, but unlike many siblings, the competition between these two would start a rivalry that seemed to last a lifetime. Not only did it include their childhood and career, but also their love lives, and family.

The women did not get along, and as children, Joan felt that her older sister was favored, and they often fought because of it. From then on, their relationship consisted of a series of ups and downs including Joan following her sister in her quest for stardom, Olivia asking her sister to use a stage name because there was only room for one de Havilland in Hollywood, and Joan deciding to marry one of her sister’s ex-boyfriends. To further fuel their rivalry, they were both nominated for the same Academy Award, twice, each taking home a win and snubbing the other in the process. Also, when their mother became ill with terminal cancer, Olivia accused her sister of not helping and did not invite her to the memorial service. Joan died in 2013, and at the time, they were not on speaking terms.

Ja Rule and 50 Cent

Hip Hop artist Ja Rule and rapper 50 Cent have one of the longest-running feuds in the music industry dating back to 1999.  In that year, Ja Rule was robbed at gunpoint while shooting a music video in Queens, New York, and it was by one of 50’s friends.

50 claimed that Rule was acting frosty with him after spotting him with the alleged robber, and later released his first diss track about Ja Rule. The following year, the artists got into a verbal and physical confrontation on two separate occasions, the second of which resulted in 50 being stabbed. Over the next few years, the two dropped several diss tracks, and in 2017, 50 took some time out to roast Ja Rule for the failed Fyre Festival. The following year, Ja Rule started with a bang by going after the rapper on Twitter, and there are no signs that it is slowing down.

Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan

In the early 2000s, it was very rare to see BFFs Lindsay Lohan and Paris Hilton without each other, but the club-hoppers’ friendship came to a screeching halt in May 2006 when LiLo was seen at Hyde nightclub in Los Angeles with Paris’ Greek shipping heir ex-boyfriend, Stavros Niarchos. Since that fateful day, the two have made no attempts to rekindle their friendship, specifically Paris.

Eleven years after the incident, in 2017, Paris was asked about Lindsay’s infamous hang out with Britney Spears, to which she responded, “It was just Brit and I out, and then she just, like, chased us to the car and got in,” Paris said, “She wasn’t invited.” A year later, Paris proved that the feud was still ongoing saying that Lohan would not be invited to her wedding to Chris Zylak and then later calling the Mean Girls star a “pathological liar.”

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie

The Blast

Childhood besties Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie ruled the 2000s with their reality series “The Simple Life” in 2003, but things took a turn for the worse at the height of their success. In 2005, Paris told People Magazine, “It’s no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends…Nicole knows what she did, and that’s all I’m ever going to say about it.”

According to the same magazine, Nicole was jealous of all of the attention that Paris was getting, and she was upset that she was not invited to some of Paris’ events, including her appearance on “Saturday Night Live” in February 2005. Rumor has it that Nicole threw a party to celebrate her bestie’s appearance on the popular sketch show, where she later screened Paris’ 2003 sex tape. Paris was extremely hurt, and a decade later, the two made up. They are not as close as they used to be, but Nicole has said that they are very good friends and that she loves her.

Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie Reynolds

Hollywood Life

Elizabeth Taylor and Debbie Reynolds were great friends while growing up in the industry, but one day all of that changed. In 1958, Elizabeth’s husband and film producer Mike Todd died in a plane crash. Understandably, many of her friends came to console her, one of whom was Debbie’s husband, actor Eddie Fisher. The two ended up having an affair, and Debbie eventually found out.

By 1959, Debbie and Eddie were divorced, and in 2010, Reynolds told a popular news site that she was the last one to find out about the affair. She said, “There had been hints in the papers and I had noticed that when I turned up at functions or parties on my own, my friends were whispering. Although I didn’t want to find out the truth, I had to face up to it. Even so, it was a great shock to find them together. It left me shattered.” But by then, the women had already repaired their friendship, starring in a 2001 comedy film together.

Faye Dunaway and Roman Polanski

Throughout the history of film, many actors and actresses have had disagreements with directors, about everything from role choices to dressing room sizes, but perhaps the most memorable director-actor fight is between award-winning actress Faye Dunaway and Oscar-nominated director Roman Polanski.

Things were bad from the onset, and according to Dunaway, “I think what he did to me throughout the film bordered on sexual harassment.” Sources claim that Polanski yanked out strands of her hair because they ruined his shot, and he covered her face in powder because her make-up artist didn’t do a good job. There were also rumors that he refused to allow her bathroom breaks and she was forced to urinate in a cup. This led to the headlining incident where she threw a cup of pee in his face. When asked about it in 2008, she completely lost it on The Guardian’s Xan Brooks.

Jacki Weaver and Anjelica Huston

Us Weekly

Just a few months back, in May to be exact, Academy-Award winning actress Anjelica Huston who is best-known for playing the role of Morticia Addams in the “Addams Family,” took a dig at Jacki Weaver’s 2019 comedy “Poms.” In an interview with Vulture magazine, Huston said, “I’m looking for movies that impress me in some way, that aren’t apologetically humble or humiliating like, ‘Band of cheerleaders gets back together for one last hurrah,’ you know,” she said. “An old-lady cheerleader movie. I don’t like that kind of thing.”

Later on, in an interview with Vanity Fair, Weaver clapped back by, telling the magazine, “I just laughed. And then I said, ‘Well, she can go f–k herself.’ I was kind of disappointed. I had always been an admirer of Anjelica, and I thought, ‘That’s a bit mean and petty.’ … I would say she must be going through menopause, but she must have had that ages ago.” A few months later, Weaver confessed, “I was a bit embarrassed that I said that, I shouldn’t have said it.”

Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak

Frenemies Nene Leakes and Kim Zolciak were friends even before appearing on the first season of Real Housewives of Atlanta together back in 2008. But like most relationships that enter reality TV, it was destined to hit a rough patch, at least once. The first sign that things were going south was when Nene shared her disapproval for Kim’s relationship with “Big Poppa,” who was allegedly married.

Things got heated during the first reunion show where she told Kim, “Close your legs to married men.” Comments like “Every dollar that chick has is somebody else’s husband’s money,” soon followed. Kim later released a song which was meant to be a duet with Nene, further widening the divide. By the end of season 5, despite almost getting physical and not being invited to Kim’s baby shower, the women mended their friendship. Their relationship took another nosedive when Kim’s daughter allegedly filmed cockroaches in NeNe’s bathroom, which led to her call Kim and her family racist. It wasn’t until Nene’s husband was diagnosed with cancer that Kim reached out, sending her a care package and several gifts. The two are now on speaking terms, but we’re not sure how long it is going to last.

Joan Rivers and Chelsea Handler

New York Daily News

Chelsea Handler is just one of many celebrities that comedienne Joan Rivers had angered when she was still alive. The seemingly one-sided feud began when Joan Rivers said that Chelsea Handler “made a mistake” in the way she handled her departure from the television network E! Chelsea said that she decided to leave because she was tired of talking about the same celebrities and “it [the show] really didn’t feel great.” But Joan didn’t see it that way.

Joan told HuffPost’s Marc Lamont Hill that while Chelsea wasn’t fired, the numbers “were going way down, down, down, so I don’t think there was renewal talk.” There was also a one-sided debate when Chelsea claimed that she was the first woman to do a late-night show, but Joan quickly reminded everyone that she was the first, saying “I guess everyone’s forgotten the [Johnny] Carson show.”  Despite her numerous opinions, Joan attempted to squash things when she saw Chelsea at a party. Joan recounted, “I went to her, I was at a party, I said, ‘Let’s take a picture together because it’ll make the papers.’ She walked away,” Rivers said. “I thought, ‘Oh, you stupid girl.’ It’s a small business, we should all be friends.”

Vivian Vance and William Frawley

Everything Zoomer

Many people were shocked to learn that “I Love Lucy” costars Vivian Vance and William Frawley despised one another while playing the comedic husband and wife team, Ethel and Frederick Hobart Mertz. The row all started when Vivian didn’t think that a 64-year-old man should play her character’s husband. According to sources, Vivian wasn’t happy that her on-screen husband could be portrayed by a man who was old enough to be her father. She once said, “How will anyone believe I’m married to that old man?”

The news quickly traveled, and William was very offended by her comments. Set workers said that he openly referred to her as a “bitch” on set, and according to them, it was one of the nicer ways that he referred to her. Things got so bad that Vivian refused to kiss him – kissing the air near him instead. For the entire run of the show, the two never made any attempts to reconcile and it is not clear if they ever did.

Elton John and Dolce & Gabbana

ABC News

Sir Elton John and Dolce & Gabbana designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana got into a bitter argument back in 2015 when the fashion label designers made some insensitive comments about same-sex families and fertility treatment facilities. In March 2015, during an interview with an Italian magazine, the men responded to a question about starting a family by saying, “…you are born and have a father and a mother. Or at least that is how it should be, that is why what I call children of chemistry, synthetic babies, do not convince me. Surrogate mothers (literal translation: rented uteruses), seeds chosen from a catalog. And then go and explain to these children who their mothers are. Would you accept to be a child of chemistry?…”

The comments drew immediate criticism from people around the world, and one of those people happened to be Elton John, who has two children with husband, David Furnish. He wrote on his Instagram, “How dare you refer to my beautiful children as ‘synthetic. And shame on you for wagging your judgemental little fingers at IVF – a miracle that has allowed legions of loving people, both straight and gay, to fulfill their dream of having children….” He then called to boycott the luxury fashion house. Despite releasing an apology, several people including Victoria Beckham and Courtney Love joined the movement, and it was gaining traction. Soon people were destroying their expensive designer items. After two more interviews and another apology from Dolce, Elton decided to forgive the designers saying that he was looking forward to wearing their clothes again.

Elton John and Madonna

Ultimate Classic Rock

For decades, these two legends have been frenemies, but things seemed to get a little bitter at the 2013 Golden Globe Awards. During an interview walking down the carpet, Sir John was asked who he thought had the best chance of taking home the award for “Best Original Song.” When Madonna’s name came up, he responded by saying that the Grammy award-winning songstress didn’t have “a f***ing chance of winning.”

Madonna seemed to take the high road by laughing it off and saying, “those are fighting words,” but she had the last laugh indeed because she went home with the award later that night. To make things more complicated, Elton’s husband, David Furnish also shared his two cents about her win, and he also said that he would not watch her Super Bowl halftime performance.

Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere

Closer News

Sylvester Stallone and Richard Gere were cast to star in the 1974 low-budget film “The Lord of Flatbush,” but when the two men arrived on the set of the film, they did not get along to the point where the two fought (physically) leading to Gere’s role being re-cast.

More than 30 years later, Stallone said, “We never hit it off. He would strut around in his oversized motorcycle jacket like he was the baddest knight at the round table.” As for the fight, Slyvester explained that he was eating a hot dog when Richard climbed into the car with chicken covered in mustard and grease nearly dripping out of the wrapper it was in. He told Gere that it was going to drip all over the place and warned him that if it got on his pants, that there was going to be a problem…and it did. Some mustard landed on his thigh, and before Gere knew it, he was punched in the side of the head and pushed out of the car.

Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando

Everything Zoomer

Frank Sinatra’s “My Way” takes on a new meaning when you think about how many people he has crossed, including his wife who has said that there was “a Jekyll and Hyde aspect” to him. One of his lesser-known feuds was with actor Marlon Brando when the two acted in “Guys and Dolls” together.

From the onset, Frank was a lot to deal with, as he was unhappy that he wasn’t given a more serious role. He once told the composer “We’ll do it my way or you can f*ck off,” when he tried to correct Sinatra. Frank was supposed to help Brando with his singing, but refused on several occasions, then proceeded to call him names and say that he was “the most overrated actor.” Brando got his payback when he intentionally messed up his lines 8 times during a restaurant scene where Sinatra’s character has to eat cheesecake. He became extremely angry and sick from eating so much cake. He also insisted on multiple takes, and towards the end of filming Brando was done messing with Frank, and rumor has it that it was because he was jumped by two of Frank’s Mafia associates.

Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell

Celebrity Insider

When it comes to the modeling industry, it’s hard to stay on top, and no two people know that better than Tyra Banks and Naomi Campbell. Back in the early 1990s, there was a bit of a rivalry between newcomer Tyra and veteran supermodel Naomi Campbell.

Tyra once told E! that Campbell often bullied her, making very nasty comments about her during runway shows as well as having her fired from several jobs. On an episode of the Tyra Banks Show, the two women sat down to speak about what really happened, but Naomi had some trouble remembering if she did those things. Despite that, they were able to sort out their differences and are now on amicable terms.

Bette Davis and Joan Crawford

New York Post

One of the oldest and most memorable celebrity feuds was between classic Hollywood actresses Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The feud started began back in 1935 when both women fell in love with actor Franchot Tone. Rumor has it that Davis fell for Tone when two filmed “Dangerous” together, but Crawford swooped in, eventually marrying him. To add insult to injury, she said, Tone “thought Bette was a good actress, but never thought of her as a woman.”

Over the year’s they continued to take swipes at each other with Davis telling tabloids “[Crawford] slept with every male star at MGM—except Lassie.” A few years later in 1962, on the set of the movie “Whatever Happened to Baby Jane?” which starred both actresses, they got into a heated argument. Not only was the dispute never resolved, but it inspired the first season of Ryan Murphy’s FX television series “Feud” in which the entire row played out.

Sophia Loren & Jayne Mansfield

My Blog

The saying “a picture is worth a thousand words” has never been truer, but in this case, it was worth a thousand headlines. In April 1957, American film company Paramount Pictures threw a lavish dinner party to welcome Italian actress Sophia Loren to Hollywood after achieving much success in Europe. Everyone who was anyone was there and not on the list of invited guests was C-class rated actress Jayne Mansfield who decided to show up anyway.

Mansfield was the last person to arrive, and she made her way straight to the guest of honor’s table wearing a satin dress with a very deep plunging neckline. Mansfield was known for pulling stunts that involved “accidentally” exposing her bust and in true Jayne fashion, she stood near Sophia’s table and deliberately leaned over, exposing her 40D breasts which led to a nip slip. Loren was photographed staring at Mansfield’s breasts in what is still known as the side-eye of the century. The photos went viral fueling rumors that the women were feuding. In 2015 she explained what she was thinking, “…then comes in Jayne Mansfield, the last one to come. For me, that was when it got amazing. She came right for my table. She knew everyone was watching. She sat down. And now, she was barely… Listen. Look at the picture. Where are my eyes? I’m staring at her nipples because I am afraid they are about to come onto my plate. In my face you can see the fear. I’m so frightened that everything in her dress is going to blow—BOOM!—and spill all over the table.
