As a continuation to part one as you seemed to really like it yesterday, we decided that we are going to make a part two of the article about old toys that could get you rich! So, read on and find out if you have any of these amazing toys to sell and become rich!
1. PEZ Dispensers
PEZ dispensers are a widespread toy that a lot of children wanted to have. If you have the right type of PEZ dispenser then you might become really rich! There are some PEZ dispensers that you can sell and will bring you tens of thousands of dollars, and the best part is, you can keep the candy for yourselves!
Namely, a PEZ dispenser made back in 1982 for the World’s Fair has been sold on eBay for a whopping $32k… You never know when you’re going to hit the jackpot with some of these old toys right? So try and keep them clean and in good shape for as long as you can.
2. Wonder Bread He-Man
Try and guess an estimated price of how much this next toy is worth. I’ll give you a hint… It was never for sale, in fact, Wonder Bread held a free giveaway of this toy back in the 90s and it is a limited edition of the He-Man action figure.
So, if you guessed one thousand dollars you guessed right. And to be honest this isn’t bad if we take into consideration that it was a prize and people didn’t pay anything for it.
3. American Girl Molly
Girls all over the world dreamed of having this doll, and now it is a collector’s item. Released back in 1986 and discontinued 2013. If you have this doll in your home you can sell it if it is in mint condition for somewhere around five thousand dollars. And here are some other dolls that can be sold for similar.
American Girl Wiki
There are some American Girl Dolls that are discontinued now and are also worth lots of money, Kirsten Larson, Samantha Parkington, Felicity Merriman and Kanani Akina are just some of the bunch. In the following paragraphs, we’re going to uncover a few other vintage toys that might be worth a fortune and you might have some of them!
4. Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone
Toys are not the only thing that can help you make some money on re-selling. There are also some books that can get you more money. Normally the first editions of the books can be worth a higher price. In fact, the first edition of the Harry Potter The Sorcerer’s Stone can be sold for upwards of $6 500.
And, if you have the first edition copy of the book and on top of that it is signed by J. K. Rowling, the amazing writer of the book, you might be talking much more! By selling a first edition signed by her you can make upwards of $15K. Just try to keep the pages as straight as possible!
The 80s were an amazing time to grow up, and for the readers who grew up then we have one nostalgic item. The original Transformers action figures, you can find that they’re selling for much more than they were back in the 80s. And you can earn much more for them if you have one with an unopened box (But, let’s be honest, there are very few of those out there)!
Optimus Prime, new, unopened box, can be sold on eBay for upwards of two thousand dollars. And when you take into consideration the original cost which was 100 times lower than that, we’re talking a great deal right?
6. G.I. Joe
Going back in time, 1964 was the year that the G. I. Joe action figures took the toy store shelves by surprise. A prototype G. I. Joe back in 2003 was sold for a whopping $200K. And, there are G. I. Joe conventions being held even to this day today.
You can find other G. I. Joe action figures, accessories or other collectibles for lower amounts but they’d still be enormous compared to the original price. A person sold The Missile Command Center for 17,5 thousand dollars. And there are even more action figures that can be sold for more than ten thousand dollars.
7. Baseball Cards
As time passes by you can find that baseball cards are getting higher and higher prices. There are cards sold for tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands or even million dollars. The most expensive cards ever are the Honus Wagner Sweet Caporal which was made from 1909 and 1911 there are only 200 produced and sold for lots of money. One of them sold for more than $2.8M
The next baseball card on the list is the card by Mickey Mantle, it was made by Topps back in 1952 and the price for it was 525 thousand dollars. And if we take into consideration that only ten years ago that same card cost 100 thousand dollars we can realize that the value of these cards just gets higher and higher.
8. Sky Dancers
The Sky Dancers were pretty amazing, for every one that doesn’t know what they actually were, they were dolls that by the pull of a string went up in the sky and flew all over the plays. The problem with them was that kids got tired of them and they got boring. But, they gained in popularity again once the kids realized that they could be using them as a weapon in the wars between siblings.
The company tried to recall most of the toys because of how dangerous it got to play with them, but this helped the people who kept them and increased the value of the toys. Today, you can find a Sky Dancer for 80 bucks which is much more than their original value. If you decide to do so, be careful with it and watch for your face!
These were all the toys for today if you like this article too let us know and we might decide to make a third part of this until we go out of expensive toys to put on our lists, anyways, like, share and comment below what you would like to read next!
