He doesn’t sleep more than 6 hours!

Elon Musk, the “Superhuman” CEO of SpaceX and Tesla, who manages to work for more than 100 hours per week! He loves doing things his way. And he has constructed an amazing rule that is based on him mainly sleeping 6 hours every night, and despite the fact that he falls asleep in the later hours, he tries to wake up by 7 am in order to jump-start his day.

He starts off his morning routine with reading the “critical emails” as he loves to call them. Once he spent 30 minutes and replayed to the most important chunk of his email list, he takes a shower, grabs a cup of coffee and skips his breakfast. After this, he goes to his office. This is how Elon Musk organizes his mornings, and he says that this has helped him in organizing his workflow and has stopped him from procrastinating. I mean name a human that could manage to do what he does!?

Not every successful person rises early!

Mark, the owner of the biggest social media site – Facebook, wakes up in the morning, mainly at 8 am. After waking up, he skips putting on his contact lenses, and immediately checks his WhatsApp and Facebook Messenger, in order to replay to some messages.

He tries to squeeze a quick and easy workout every now and then, he tries to keep it somewhere around 3 days a week. He oftentimes also brings Beast, his dog, when he goes for a run. After he’s done with all these things he heads into Facebook headquarters where he spends a lot of his time.

Why Would You Need an Alarm Clock

The morning schedule of this amazing woman is a tight one, and she manages it without breaking a sweat! After Oprah Winfrey wakes up at 6:00 am and 6:20 am, without an alarm clock, because as she says, she doesn’t believe in them, she brushes her teeth, and immediately takes her dogs for a walk.

After she gets home after a half an hour walk with her dogs, she prepares a chai tea or cappuccino. Once she’s done drinking her morning drink she heads to her home gym and once she’s done working out, she finishes things up with a 10-20 minutes meditation. After this, she eats a healthy breakfast, and revises what she needs to do for the day!

No need of an alarm for Arianna Huffington

Arianna Huffington also doesn’t believe in alarm clocks just like Oprah Winfrey. She wants to get at least 8 or more hours of sleep every night. She lets her body to wake up naturally in the morning.

She doesn’t instantly take her phone like Mark and Elon. But, she takes a couple of minutes of mindfulness; she does some deep breathing and sets her goals and intentions for the following day. Next, she tends to skip the breakfast and go for a cup of coffee!

He swears by productivity!

The early riser from Virgin, Richard Branson, gets up as early as 5 am, and tries to do it every single day. When he gets out of his bed he’s headed straight to the gym for a good morning workout, if he doesn’t feel like working out he will play tennis, ride a bike, run or kite-surf. Once he is done with his cardio he goes back home and spends some quality time with his family, eating a healthy breakfast.

After feeding his body with a healthy meal, he starts working, he priorities emails, blog articles and reading the news, before doing everything else.

No rest for Tony Robbins

Tony Robbins’ schedule varies every day and that’s the reason why he doesn’t have a specific time when he gets out of bed. But, when he gets up, he has his morning routine all set up. First, he will jump into the pool and swim for a while, or if he doesn’t feel like it, he hops into a cryotherapy tank. That’s how he gets energized and ready for the day!

He has a specific rule that he tends to follow every day and he mentioned it in an interview as the 10 minute rule “I made a deal with myself: If you don’t have 10 minutes for yourself, you don’t have a life,” After he’s done swimming, or he finishes the cryotherapy, he devotes a bit of time to mindfulness, breathing, expressing gratitude and praying. Once, he’s done with this, he grabs a protein full breakfast.
