This Man Explains How Fixing His Teeth Changed His Life
Making a good first impression on people is one of the most important things when trying to meet new people. And, most of the time, you have up to seven seconds to make that good first impression. At least that’s what scientists are saying. A lot of the times, your appearance is the thing that leaves your first impression for you, and the teeth can be one of the few things that can stand out in those seven seconds. Today we’re going to be speaking about the influence that fixing his teeth had on this man’s life.
How it All Started for Him
This man’s name is Jon Torsch, and he decided to share all about his story on social media. As it turns out, Josh is an ordinary guy, but he has one problem. He is embarrassed by his teeth, and he has been for his whole life. He stated in an interview that he even learned how to smile without showing his teeth when he was little. This problem really stuck with Jon, and he is still feeling consequences from it. He wasn’t expressing himself even when he should’ve celebrated the most important parts of his life.
What Should I Do?
But, this wasn’t the only problem that Jon had with himself. He admitted in another interview that he grew up in a wealthy family, and he only got his insurance at the age of 27 years. So, he wanted to spend the insurance on fixing his teeth. But the problem was the fact that this was going against his mindset and how he was raised.
The Time and the Money
Shockingly it took four thousand dollars from his insurance and nearly two years of his life in order to get the look that he was aiming for. Dentists went all-in with braces, bonding, and retainers in order to shape up Jon’s teeth. He was shocked by the cost and the sheer length of the whole procedure, but he knew that he needed to do something to solve his problem.
The Impact Fixing his Teeth had on his Life
Now, Jon loves his new look, and he can’t believe that he has the smile that he dreamed of. In his interview, he spoke about how relieved he was to see the new smile that he had finally. But he also stated that he loved the burden that eliminating this problem removed from his mind.
Today, he is sure that dental care should be included even in the standard healthcare plans. And he thinks that fixing his teeth sure helped his mental health. We’re hoping that by solving his problem, Jon is going to start something even more beautiful!
